Learn To Play

Learn to Play U4/5

KUSC follows the model of Canada Soccer's Active Start model. This hour long program gives players the opportunity to develop basic movement skills like running, jumping, landing, kicking, throwing and catching. The program runs on the basis of fun and positive reinforcement.

Cost: $175.00 Includes Uniform (Jersey, shorts, socks), Ball, Individual/Team Picture and End of Year Celebration/Tournament
Time 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Proposed nights of play and field locations may change due to registration numbers and field conditions

U4/5 (born 2016 and 2015) East - Monday OR Wednesday (you may choose day on registration form) - John Machin Field
or
U4/5 (born 2016 and 2015) Central - Tuesday OR Thursday (you may choose day on registration form)-  McCullough Park

Our 2020 season will begin the week of June 1st and end the week  of August 20th for all programs. 

Learn to Play U6

KUSC follows the model of Canada Soccer's Active Start model and Fundamentals model to develop our Learn to Play U-6 program. This hour long program will enable our U-6 players to further develop their skills and prepare them for house league the following year. Players will develop their agility skills like running, jumping, landing, and kicking but also their movement ABCs (as outlined in Canada Soccer's Fundamentals model) - agility, balance, co-ordination and speed. Players will also learn the basics of soccer but with an emphasis of Fun!

Cost: $175.00 Includes Uniform (Jersey, shorts, socks), Ball, Individual/Team Picture and End of Year Celebration/Tournament

Inclement Weather Policy

If the city closes the fields due to bad weather or field conditions, we will inform coaches and members via our website and email as soon as possible. Games that are cancelled due to bad weather will not be rescheduled.

As long as the fields remain open, games will go ahead as scheduled. If bad weather occurs during the game, the referee will make a decision on whether the game will continue.
