SAP Program

Program Details: 
The SAP program is an optional program for individuals to register for. Players participating are generally on our competitive teams but this program is open to ‘any’ player who wants to improve their individual technical ability as a soccer player. Players may register for an individual stage (Winter or Spring/Summer) or year round. If joining late, please contact our Technical Director (tech@kingstonsoccer.ca) to complete registration.  Overall, the SAP program is designed to be a Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer program, covering between 28 - 30 sessions throughout the year.

 

Program Description: 
The Skill Acquisition Phase Program is our comprehensive training program delivered by our Club Technical Director, Technical Team and Guest International Coaches (at various times of the year) which is designed to challenge players to be their absolute best. The SAP program works through a detailed curriculum, which is focused around individual player development at each age. The SAP program works in conjunction with their team activities and serves as an additional training session per week.

Coaching Qualifications:

Nationally Certified Coaches (UEFA B License / National B or higher)

Program Curriculum:

The players work through a detailed curriculum which includes the following:
• First Touch
• Passing & Receiving 
• Ball Striking & Finishing
• Running with the ball
• Dribbling
• 1v1 Attacking & Defending
• Turning

PLEASE NOTE: If your child has already registered for any of our current Winter Academy programs please do the following:

1- Send an email to administrator@kingstonsoccer.ca with your childs information.

2- Bring a cheque payable to Kingston United Soccer Club to the first SAP session you are attending.  

SportsEngine is not capable of registering players for a second winter program.
