May 16th UPDATE

Due to the current Ontario Stay-At-Home Order our spring programming has been further delayed.

All being well, our Spring Training for Development/Competitive will now start June 14th according to the new 3 Step reopening framework.  KUSC continues to wait for further direction from the Ontario government and Ontario Soccer.

  1. If we can get to the field before June 7th we will do that and those sessions will be bonus sessions.
  2. The program will now be a 6 week program with a total of at least 16 sessions.  Originally it was an 8 weeks program with 2 sessions per week(16 sessions).
  3. Some uniforms have been delivered and handed out.  The next batch of uniforms are due to be delivered soon. We’ll reach out to managers and coaches once they arrive.

We hope to see everyone on the pitch soon!

What is Competitive Soccer?

  • Development (all about development/fair game time/no scores, no standings/learning the game) is for ages U9 – U12 (2020 age groups) players born in 2011 - 2008 and these teams will play solely  within the South Eastern Ontario District against Pegasus, Clippers, Belleville, Quinte West and more.

  • District is for ages U13 – U18 (2020 age groups) players born in 2007 – 2002 and these teams will play in the DRSL but games will be played in the South Eastern Ontario District as well. This will require a small amount of travel in comparison to Regional & OPDL.

  • Regional is for ages U13 – U18 (2020 age groups) players born in 2007 – 2002 and these teams will play in the ERSL which is the second highest level of competition in Ontario and requires a level of commitment to be able to compete at this level. Travelling is required.

  • OPDL is for ages U13 (2020 age groups) players born in 2007 and these teams will play in the Ontario Player Development League which is the highest level of competition in the province. Travel includes Ottawa, Kingston and GTA. High level of commitment required.
