What is Competitive Soccer?

Competitive soccer is divided into two groups:

Developmental U9  - U12 and Competitive U13 - U18

  • District Development Competition (Southeastern Ontario Soccer Association) District Development Competition divisions are offered for boys and girls in the under 9 to under 12 age groups located within the Southeastern Ontario Soccer Association region between Brockville and Trenton.
  • District Competitive Competition District Competitive Competitions divisions (formally called L5  divisions) are offered for boys and girls in the under 13 to under 18 age groups located within the Southeastern Ontario Soccer Association region between Brockville and Trenton. For the upcoming 2019 season SOSA district teams will be playing in the Durham Regional Soccer League. Teams can be promoted from a District Competitive league to the appropriate Regional leagues subject to promotion/relegation policies.
  • Regional Competition (East Regional Soccer League) Regional Competition divisions are offered for boys and girls in the under 13 to under 18 age groups. Kingston United teams in this division may compete with other teams in the SOSA region between Trenton and Brockville as well as teams in the Ottawa region.
  • Regional Competition (Central Regional Soccer League) In 2018 our U18 Girls team played in the CSL against teams from around the Greater Toronto Area. This is also an L3 division. For the upcoming 2019 season KUSC does not have any teams in the CSL.
