The recreational camps are for our recreational players to get out and spend more time on the pitch! Lots of fun, many different games and tournaments throughout the week, with some multi-sports added in too! Of course… there will be some prizes available at the end of the camp! Where else would you want to spend your week?!

All Summer Camps will take place at John Machin Fields which is located on Innovation Dr.

A brand-new camp introduced this year, the Camp of Champions brings the competitions you watch on TV, to John Machin! Each day will be a different competition. The CPL, Premier League, Champions League, European Championships, and of course the World Cup to finish the week off!

This Position Specific Clinic is a brand-new program from KU which focuses on the specific skills, roles and responsibilities of the 4 different positions in soccer: Goalkeeping; Defence; Midfield & Striker. Each day will be focused on one of the 4 positions, with coaches developing players understanding of the position as well as running activities which improve their ability to play in this position for their team. 

Monday - Goal Keeper

Tuesday - Defending

Wednesday - Midfield

Thursday - Striker

The Development Camp is designed for those players who want to get lots of extra technical work and touches on the ball. The Development Camp is for those from U7-U12. These camps will also include tournaments at the end of each day!

Pre OPDL Camp – The Pre-OPDL Camp is designed for those players who have an interest and aspirations to play in the OPDL, either next year, or in the future. The Pre-OPDL Camp will give an insight into the OPDL Program and will be ran by our OPDL Technical Staff. The camp will consist of a different topic each day, covering the technical, tactical, physical and social-emotional elements of the game.

Fact:   According to the Pandemic Impact on Girls Report, 1 in 4 girls are not committed to return to sport post Covid-19.

Program Objective: Inspire and empower young girls to play soccer within an environment that will foster the love of sport for life.  

Our Focus: When a girl chooses to play sports, what she will gain goes far beyond kicking a ball.  Through positive sport experiences, girls are more likely to reap the benefits of sport participation and grow into future confident and motivated leaders. Through our Girls United program, our goal is to deliver a fun program that will inspire girls to keep playing soccer.  

Our Program:  Our Club female coaches have joined together to deliver a program that will improve individual soccer skills and team play using the four corner approach that touches on all aspects of a player’s personal development—technical/tactical, physical, mental, and social/emotional. Our coaches will seek to encourage and inspire participation by creating a positive social environment that intentionally fosters a sense of belonging.

Are you a competitive player (U15+) who is looking to take their talents to the next step into college or University? This program prepares athletes for the demands of playing soccer at the varsity level.
